Interests and Research:
Dr. Miller's structural engineering and structural mechanics research interests include earthquake engineering, timber structures and cold-formed steel structures. Recent research projects involve seismic performance of wood residential buildings, and cross-laminated timber (CLT) floor diaphragms, shear walls and connections.
 
Teaching:
Dr. Miller teaches graduate and undergraduate structural engineering and engineering mechanics courses at Oregon State University in structural analysis, steel design, seismic design, structural stability and statics.
