 Water resources engineers combine

skills to manage water for the benefit of man and the environment. This component
of civil and environmental engineering is as vital as any other engineering
discipline for the well-being of our society. Water resources engineering research
spans the range of water uses -- from storm and waste water management to cleanup
of contaminated groundwater.
