| Professor Yamamuro's interests relate to experimental and theoretical
mechanics of frictional materials and its application to engineering
practice. Specific topics include soil instability and liquefaction,
strain rate effects in soils, three-dimensional experimental soil
characterization, and elasto-plastic constitutive modeling frictional
materials. |
