| Interests and Research: |
| Professor Vinson's interests include geotechnical and cold regions
engineering, and carbon cycling in the terrestrial environment . Current
projects involve spatial based emergency response during earthquakes,
probabilistic analysis of geotechnical and cold regions engineering
problems, low temperature cracking of asphalt pavements, frost heave
prediction, and terrestrial carbon cycling and sequestration potential
in the former Soviet Union. |
