| Interests and Research: |
| Ms. Schulz is a registered professional civil engineer in the State of Oregon with experience in groundwater remediation and civil engineering design. Ms. Schulz has experience in both the public and private sector. |
| Ms. Schulz's research interests lie in new and innovative ways to engage students in the engineering learning environment. She is particularly interested in finding ways to increase the indentification of lower division students with their future profession, thus increasing the motivation to engage and learn. |

| Teaching: |
| Ms. Schulz emphasizes the professional development of her students through the use of teamwork, communication, and active learning in the engineering classroom. Ms. Schulz teaches statics, problem solving and technology, graphics and design, and assists with senior capstone design for the School of Civil and Construction Engineering. |
