| Interests and Research: |
| Professor Miller's structural engineering and structural mechanics
research interests include earthquake engineering, timber structures
and cold-formed steel structures. Current research projects involve
seismic hazard assessments and modeling and behavior of residential
timber structures. |

| Dr. Miller teaches graduate and undergraduate structural engineering
and engineering mechanics courses at Oregon State University in structural
analysis, steel design, seismic design, structural dynamics, stability,
and statics. |
