| Interests and Research: |
| Ms. Arras' technical interests are principally in the area of geographical
information systems and the integration of geomatic technologies (remote
sensing, image processing, and GPS) for engineering applications. |
| Ms. Arras' technical interests also include the development of new
innovative and effective pedagogic approaches (e.g., use of information
technology and connectivity) to engage freshman and sophomore students. |

| Teaching: |
| Ms. Arras' teaching interests include introductory GIS, GIS and
Water Resources, and introductory freshman and sophomore courses that
utilize information technology. |
