CONGRATULATIONS to Javier Moncada (BSCE ‘04; MEng ‘07) who was nominated ASCE’s, ‘2008 New Face of Engineering’. An integral part of National Engineers Week (Feb. 17-23) celebration, the program promotes the achievements of young civil engineers by highlighting their contributions and impact on society. CEM’s - this is the last term (winter grads) we will allow students who went to an old minor orientation but never actually declared it to graduate w/ the Business Admin minor. In other words, there are a few who apply for graduation who have already completed the old minor req’ts but never declared a minor.
If you previously attended a College of Business minor orientation, and you intend on graduating with a business minor, you must officially declare the minor to ‘lock in’ your requirements. Please be aware that the old Business Administration minor has been discontinued. Only students who have already declared this minor can now graduate with it, using those requirements. The new minor is Business & Entrepreneurship. The requirements are slightly different. Since orientation attendance does not automatically declare a student, you must be sure to declare the minor in 214 Bexell to “lock in” requirements.
Here are the requirements for the Business & Entrepreneurship Minor which took effect Spring 2007.
If you haven’t been to an orientation for declaring the Business & Entrepreneurship minor yet, it is now available ONLINE. To access this go to this URL, then look in the center “programs” column under “minors” for the link to the PowerPoint presentation. Note we still have deadlines to get this done, which are discussed in the presentation, but the next one is Feb. 13th (the last opportunity to get declared before Spring registration.) http://www.bus.oregonstate.edu/services/
ONE DOLLAR can buy five pounds of food through The Linn-Benton Food Share. Tasty treats available for purchase on Cindy’s desk. Cash donations also encouraged – do your part to end hunger in Oregon!
