JANUARY 30, Wednesday - study abroad mini-fair to highlighting summer, fall, and year-long programs. MU Student Lounge (across from Bites Convenience Store) 10:00-2:00 pm. Light refreshments will be provided.
JANUARY 31 - FEBRUARY 1 - Geodesy Basics for Surveying & Higher Order Surveying, and
Horizontal Time-Dependent Positioning and OPUS-RS Workshop, 110 Owen Hall. Pre-registration required.
FEBRUARY 5-7 – NW Transportation Conference at the CH2M-HILL Alumni Center. “Making the Most of What We Have” theme is designed to address innovations that help maintain and improve transportation system service levels in an era of constrained funding and limited resources. The conference includes vendor displays open throughout the three days. Faculty and student are welcome to attend free of charge (lunches $10/day). See Nancy to register, 204 Owen Hall.
FEBRUARY 16 – 3rd Annual SWE Engineering Ball, KEC Atrium.
FEBRUARY 20 – Engineering Career Fair. See the list of agencies registered to attend. Update your resume, because your mother wants you to get a job.

The PRISM magazine, published by the American Society for Engineering Education, has a featured article on the Tsunami Wave Basin and the scale-model simulation of Seaside in their January 2008 issue.
The CE Senior photo composite is back! Check it out, 220 Owen Hall.
The Willamette Valley Section of the Society of Women Engineers is sponsoring a banquet to celebrate Engineers Week. All faculty, staff and students from the College of Engineering are invited to attend this banquet on Monday, February 25, 2008 at 6:00 pm at the CH2M Hill Alumni Center. We hope that you can join us to celebrate the many contributions made by engineers to our society. Details
