OCTOBER 3, Wednesday - The Ongoing Elwha River Restoration in Washington, a fall Water Resources Seminar. 102 Owen Hall, 4:00 pm. Details.
OCTOBER 4, Thursday – “ODOT's Eddyville Design-Build Project: What you don't read in the newspapers,” presented by Jay McQuillen, Vice President, Northwest Operating Group, Granite Construction. Fall Kick-Off Seminar sponsored by the AGC Student Chapter. 124 Gilbert Hall, 4:00 pm. All are invited to attend.

OCTOBER 2, TUESDAY – Charles R. Gains: CEM Outreach Faculty Candidate Presentation, 106 Owen Hall.
- 10:30-11:30 : Presentation to faculty/staff/students

SCHOLARSHIPS – for both undergrads and grad students are posted on the corrected website, here.
The Wireless Help Desk does NOT have free Microsoft Office for students. All OSU students may purchase Microsoft Office at the OSU Bookstore for $69.00.
FREE PARKING – in student lots though October 5, 2007. Alternatively, everyone showing an OSU ID card can ride the Corvallis bus for free! Bus routes and schedules here.

ADVISING

To add a course during the second week of classes requires an override. Please see the Department/School offering the course to find out their specific procedures. The School of Civil and Construction Engineering requires a form be filled out, as does the rest of the College.

STUDENT CHAPTERS
-------------------- OCTOBER 2, Tuesday - ASCE Steel Bridge and Concrete Canoe Meeting, 103 Owen Hall, 5:30 pm. Free pizza and drinks.
OCTOBER 10, Wednesday – ACSM Student Chapter Meeting, 110 Owen Hall, 5:00 pm. Mr. Steve Townsen, from the City of Portland, will speak on surveying in a government agency and how CECOP students can go on a surveying internship. Pizza and drinks provided.
