MAY 11 – OSU Engineering Expo & Robo*Palooza, a college-wide showcase of senior projects and our very own Steel Bridge and Concrete Canoe. Kelley Engineering Center , 1:00 -5:00 pm.

ELEVATOR SERVICES in Owen Hall will be shut down from 8:00 am on Tuesday, May 8, until 4:00 pm on Wednesday, May 9 for scheduled maintenance repairs.

COMPUTER LAB CLOSED on Friday, May 11 to accommodate LEED workshop.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for Engineering Expo. Please come see Nancy (204 Owen) before 5/10/07.

ORDER OF THE ENGINEER - Graduation is quickly approaching! This means that you should consider participating in the Order of the Engineer ceremony on June 16. This is a pledge, taken by graduating engineering students, to uphold the standards and dignity of the engineering profession and to serve humanity. As part of the process you will be given a steel ring to wear to remind you of your obligation to society. Ring sizing takes place May 7-9 in the Owen Hall Atrium between 1:00-4:00 pm. Cost is $20. MAY 7, Monday – Engineers Without Borders Speaker Meeting, “World-Wide Water Resources: Supply and Demand in the World's Future,” Dr. Ken Williamson, CCEE. Food and beverages provided. Kelley Engineering Center 1007, 6:00-7:00 pm.

MAY 14, Monday – MCAA (Mechanical Contractors Association of America) Student Chapter Meeting, to discuss: Student Chapter Summit in October; National Competition in the Fall; Reno Mechanical Team formation; National Convention in March; and, Election of Officers. MAY 21 - PLSO STUDENT APPRECIATION NIGHT. The Willamette Branch of PLSO has a speaker and a free dinner for students interested in surveying. Students must pre-register before May 14, 2007 to attend this free dinner event. Equipment demonstrations by TOPCON.
