Each January, the CEM faculty and senior students travel to San Francisco to tour several construction sites. Their visit includes tours of several leading construction company home offices and project sites allowing students to gain knowledge of their profession. The 2004 trip took place January 4-10 with 50 students and 2 faculty members touring a variety of bridge, roads, commercial, and residential projects; and several contractor's home offices.
