Glenn Holcomb: Life and Career

When Glenn Holcomb died at the age of 92 on Friday, March 25, 1988, his obituary headlined the fact that he was a former city councilor and civil engineering professor at OSU. He was that--and much more. For nearly 60 years he was a distinctive-and distinguished-personality within the walls of Apperson Hall and well beyond-on campus, in the city of Corvallis, and nationally as president of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
